Financial aid to SSS members who lose their jobs eyed under law

The head of the pension fund said that a law is being crafted to give financial support to Social Security System members who lose their jobs.

According to SSS President Emmanuel Dooc, those who are involuntarily separated from work may get up to 80 % of their monthly salary for up to 6 months.

He also added that starting next year, SSS members can access the posting of their contribution and loan payments in real time.
