Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada is ready to accept any government position if duterte offer him any, after being released from three years imprisonment.
On Saturday, Estrada was released on bail around 12:30 p.m at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custody Center after his lawyer posted 1.3 million bail with the Sandiganbayan. He was accused of plunder, anti-graft and corruption charges.
The Sandigan Bayan has granted him omnibus motion for his temporary released but did not approve his motion to dismiss his plunder case for his allegedly involvement in pork barrel scam.
Meanwhile, he expressed his happiness to finally be reunited with his finally.
“I can’t express my feelings right now but certainly I’m very very happy, very elated.” Jinggoy said.
Last year, the court which had a different composition of judges, denied Estrada’s bail plea due to lack of merit.
Along with his fellow senators Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and Juan Ponce Enrile were arrested in 2014 for their alleged involvement on the 10-billion pork barrel scam.
