Earlier, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said that the killing of Espinosa was a “rubout.”

Despite the NBI’s findings, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte also said that he “will not allow these guys to go to prison.”

Kerwin, Espinosa’s son, testified in the Senate that Marcos and his men were receiving payoffs from his drug trade in Eastern Visayas.

During the Senate hearing, Marcos and his men denied the allegations.
